Well, in CinePremiere Mexico December issue there's a double page photo with The Green Hornet's Black Beauty (La Belleza Negra del Avispon Verde). Actually there's no new photo, just the one from Comic Con that we know very well. It was nice to see the pic though.

1974 Green Hornet "movie"

Hello everyone! What can you Hornet experts tell me (and others that may not know as well) about the 1974 "movie." I know it was just scenes from the 1966 TV series strung together, but can anyone tell me how they could have made a cohesive "movie" from scenes from the series? Also, how did whomever was credited as the "producer" get away with not crediting Dozier (I noticed on IMDB Dozier is not credited.) Please excuse my noviceness (if that's a word LOL.)...

Sorry, I cannot do screen captures from DVDs, but anyone with the latest VCI release of the first GREEN HORNET serial can check this out.

About four minutes into chapter nine, there is an external shot of a movie palace and there is a movie poster of an old Universal Studios movie. Can anyone make out what the movie or serial is being promoted?

Kevin Smith's Green Hornet comic books coming out next year starting in March 2010. Here is the latest news.

Music rights to the TV series.

In another post http://thecaveboard.yuku.com/topic/7042 Martin pointed out that the music rights for the 66 series are secured by Billy May and Hastings Music. I wonder if these incidental music segments will ever see the light of day again? Is it possible to encourage the rights holders to release these much like some of the holdings of Carl Stalling and Hoyt Curtin?
